I know we have a few Oregonians around Portland on here. I'm heading down to Champoeg State park this weekend and debating about taking our boat down. It appears I could put in at Boones Ferry and then head down to Champoeg to pick up folks, any advice on that part of the Willamette?

Should be a nice weekend, we need more Four Winns cruising in the area. We don't get that far up often but just watch your channel markers. The river has been real low with lots of dead heads. Shoot me a message if you ever get into the Multnomah Channel we usually hang out around Coon Island. The docks are great, the crowds are almost gone and just the die hard boaters and party crew will be out the rest of the winter.

Thanks for the info on the River level. Monitoring the weather situation to see if its worth it or not.

If I go I'm hauling it down with the motorhome and since I've not practiced launching with it I'm a bit nervous about that aspect. Hoping one of my camping buddies with agree to launch with their truck.
