2009 Model year is the last for the US market at least. Maybe in Europe and Overseas the 215 may still be available in 2010.

Thanks Captain the reason I ask is i want to move up from my horizon to a sundowner so im looking at going into a used sundowner or a used sundancer by sea ray. After two season i have come to thought that i need something i can spend the night on. OK and yes i know I can spend the night under the stars on the horizon but trying to convince a matie to stay the night is a little harder without a cabin.

I hear ya about the cabin. It has been nice to have for all our boat owner days. Next boat will not have one however. (If I'm still alive at that time)

This is the reason we went to our Baja. I did look at the Sundowners also, but I want something that was still sporty after having the H200SS while yet still having a cabin. Only used the Baja a hand full of times so far as we got it late this season, but so far the admiral loves having the cabin espically witht he little ones on board. It was realy nice that my son had a spot to nap while we were out while being protected from the sun. Some day I would love to have a Vista or a Sundancer, but just not in our budget right now.

There just isn't a market for a cuddy cab when you can get into a larger bowrider with the head built into the passenger compartment.

If people want a day cruiser, they would tend to jump to the small Vista's.

Because of this - FW cut the line. It wasn't making them any money when they sell 4 of them per year for the random person who wants that style of boat.

I want FW to make a Sedan Bridge! They won't do that either.

Ours may be sale. We did what you did, and are now shopping for a 28' - 30 Cruiser. Four Winns or Sea Ray.

It is a shame, cuddys suit my boating area much better than bowriders, and the Vistas have too much stuff I don't need to haul about and are too high, hence more sensitive to side winds when docking etc I guess it has to be a Doral or a Monterey next for me. I hope I'm still welcome here when that happens.

It has worked for us for 2 years. But now we are looking for a Cruiser, older though, to stay in the price range.

It is still trailerable, and we have a drop-in A/C unit that keeps the cuddy cool, and the helm cool in the evenings only.

I had a 225 for a year and really liked it. For the type of boating we do, it made sense to spend a little more and get a full head, AC, and galley.

JeffK,

Unfortunately, we never need A/C in the UK even in the best Summers; the last 3 have come nowhere close to being that ! The cuddy is required for protection from waves/ head seas!

I can't talk anything serious right now, Im deploying to afghanistan next month and I need to get my current boat sold. Im looking at doing all this mid summer or the end of summer. Right now im just browsing the market looking at prices and things like that to see what im getting myself into.
