Yeah, the dock is starting to get a bit bare. Here is the exodus going on last weekend. Did you ever wonder how the boat floats with all the crap we stow?

Very sad :( :( :(

We're getting the cold rain (39*F...gale warning....gusting to 30 mph) end of that storm...I had the boatyard pull out our boat today and pressure wash the bottom and drive...done for this year...now hoping for a nice weekend (not this one) to winterize!

We normally get an Indian Summer around here for much of October... not so this year. Really sucks too only got the boat out twice since we bought it.

If you watch the theories on global warming, you would understand that it is not all about the earth just getting warm. It is more about major climate shifts. Things like cooler summers where it was hot, and snow when it should not be snowing

Trying to extend the season as much as possible during our first year with the 268 Vista. The weather has been miserable here in CT ...... It just doesn't seem right to have the boat still in the water with snow falling ...... the forecast does show warmer weather next week ..... just in time to haul and winterize!

Colder than a Well Diggers Knee here in Ohio. Glad I got the boat winterized early. Looks like we are going straight to winter weather. The good news, HUNTING SEASON. The Bucks are starting to move. If I could just hunt them from my boat.

Looks like we pull the boat a week earlier then I had wanted; heading down to the boat tonight for the last stay on her. In the morning I start the off loading and winterizing; winter sucks! The only thing we have to look forward to before the snow really starts falling (for real) is Atlantic Tower installing our new arch. Then shoveling, scrapping and dreaming of summer. At least the winter boat shows break up the cold of winter.
