A few more things to see at the show, starting tomorrow. :P

New 310

New 511

New Model

Flying

Quote:
The show will set a record for the number of super-yachts – those longer than 80 feet – an apparent sign that the very wealthy can still buy boats. About 200 of the 1,400 boats on exhibit will be super-yachts. This year’s event will showcase more than $3 billion worth of merchandise at six venues

Thanks for looking........

They had a 435 on display with twin IPS 600's. Price was $599,000. Tried to get our VP of Sales to take some pictures for me. No luck, he says he was busy trying to get some business for us. I can't fault him for that. The boat is pretty much unchanged from last years' 405, aside from some cosmetic changes from what I have heard.

We have the Fort Myers Boat Show here next weekend I am not sure what FW will have. I the past they bring over what they had in Ft Lauderdale. They had the 408 last year but with all that is going on I don't have a clue this year. I did get an email from the local Marinemax rep that they will have a 391 Meridan that I have looked at in the past. I take some pics of whats there and looks interesting.

Here is a 6 minute video with some highlights of the show this year. It was real slow loading for me, but eventually did play. Some nice things to see for sure ! Take a look.

Sounds good. If you can, get some pics of the new SeaRay 450... It appears they took a page out of FW design of the 408.

Any reports of a sudden rash of mysterious "sinkings" in the general area? 8)

Fort Myers show sees attendance boost
Quote:
The 37th annual Fort Meyers Boat Show saw attendance increase by more than 15 percent, according to show manager John Good. Good reported that The Boat House of Cape Coral, Fla., sold 25 boats at the show this year. Tom Nichols of Bonita Boat Center in Bonita Springs, Fla., a Boston Whaler dealer, reported selling 16 boats from 13 to 47 feet at the show.

Cool.

We were at the Fort Myers show on Saturday and it was packed. There was a fair amount of traffic at the Boaters Landing display our local FW dealer. They had one new V318 with a bow thruster as a different option, Cougar it is your color combination. They also had a 278 and still have the 2008, V358 with diesel power and several bowriders. Marine Max had by far the best array of boats. I am sorry I didn't get pics of the 450. They had everything from a 310 up thru the 60 Sundancer I'll say the best in show was the new 540 Sundancer it is an unbelieveable yacht. They also had a 470 Sedanbridge that has to have one of the best master staterooms I have seen. It has a gally aft layout with a French door designed into the standard slider that is really nice to open the cockpit into the rest of the cabin.
I personally still like the Meridan 391 it has a great cabin layout, nice power options, a fly bridge that seats 8 and the docking on command system, just a very nice boat for the buck.
