So.... same old same old for the show. No V335, or V355 or V435. Have to see them in Miami I guess. Good luck at the show, hope it goes well for your dealership.

My V338 is a 2010 but before they made the number game change so... it is a V355 if I change the little designator on the side... no difference there at all...the V288 is the only 09 everything else is 2010....

Did colors change for 2010 on the Vistas? Both interior & hull colors? I don't think they did. They did some tweaks to the Horizons interior, but I heard that not much changed for 2010 other than designations, the new emissions stuff, and maybe a small tweak here/there.

Cap'n -- have you heard differently on the new Vistas?

We are planning on going; weather dependent that is. Looking forward to climbing on board.

Anybody else making the trek to RI?

I would like to go wx depending to see the last of the V288s built. Since it will be discontinued
in 2010. What a shame. Hopefully FW will stabilize financially and offer this boat once again
in the future.

We may go, but usually just go to the Hartford show. It is a little small, but still not too bad.

Quote:
The 17th annual Providence Boat Show this year saw booth and exhibitor space confined to one floor this year, but buyers turned out despite the cold weather. The range of interest was between 18 and 26 feet. Shamless Plug...... A newcomer was Winnisquam (N.H.) Marine, which represents Premier pontoon boats. Vice president Ryan Crawford says they had contracts signed at the show for two custom-built pontoon vessels: a 231 Alante model and a 220 Sunsation model.

"This is the first show of the season for Premier and we are all very excited," said Crawford. "We are definitely going to come back every year from now on; we got such a positive response."

Show director Nancy Piffard says the attendance was on par with last year's - about 12,000 - despite the earlier dates and smaller floor space.

Always room for improvement next year.

I talked to Ryan when he was up at the show (right before it started). Premier is really getting off the ground in pontoon land... and they are one of their largest dealers as well.

How did Twin City do? They sell the big boats?

Hey Cougar!

We had more interest on the 2 big boats than anything else we had in the show. This week we have people coming back to look at the 338 and 288 now that they are back in their spots in the showroom. We also have a few people on our new "fan favorite" the F224.

I'll keep you updated

I must say the 338 that was at the show was gorgeous and well priced around 210,000. She was LOADED and if we were ready for a new boat I would have taken her home; but we are still a few years away for a trade up. The comparable 31’ Sea Ray was base priced about 199,000 and not even representative of the one they were showing. The old bate and switch, show the base price then load up the display.

As for the show, WORST boat show I have ever been too a waste of time driving in from the Hartford area. Small, loaded with walk around fishing boats. Sea Tow wasn’t even offering any deals.
