Just woundering how many are planning to go to the Toronto International Boat Show.
I'm guessing that we will see the new 2010 FW before they update the FW website!!
Can't wait to put a little summer in my winter!!

My wife and I will be at the Toronto International Boat Show on Saturday January 9th and staying over at the Sheraton Hotel. In addition to having a decent number of boats on display, the Toronto Show has a good sized boating accessory section.

If anyone is interested, the Sheraton Hotel and Westin Harbour Castle Hotel have a Boat Show rate of $90.00 which includes shuttle service to and from the Boat Show at no charge. Both Hotels are quite nice.

Mike.

Planning to pay visit as well. I never miss a boat show when I happen to be in the same city.

My wife and I were just wondering when the boat show was being held this year. This is always a great show and lots of dreaming going on for sure
At the end of last season I bought a V278 (2006 Volvo 8.1) but didn't have too much time other than get it winterized and tucked away. Funny how a new boat (to me at least) makes you look forward to this show even more than usual.
Been a lurker on here for a while trying to learn as much as possible about the V278. Great site and lots of helpful people here.
Happy New Year to everyone!

The show starts on January 9 and goes untill the 18. It's best to try and go during the week if you can it can be very busy on the weekend. The FW booth always has lots of selection, as does all of the major players in the market!

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the tip but unfortunately it has to be a weekend trip. I've always looked at the Chaparral booths as by previous/current boat (didn't get to sell it late in the season) is a '96 Chaparral 2335. I really liked the Chaparral quality but FW was also on my radar. It will be interesting to visit the FW booths as an owner of their product. Of course, looking mainly for accessory items this year (don't need to be dealing with 3 boats  )

Apparently The Boat Warehouse will have the only V435 in Canada at the show. Yours for only $655,999.00CDN.

Yes, Spent the afternoon down there. It was great as always but I don't think the crowd was as big as usual. I did check out the FW crew. They had (I believe the largest was the V435) a good display of boats. The V435 was awesome but for $600,000 plus I won't be ordering it this year
Checked out the V285 and it's very similiar to my 2006 V278.
Nice to dream for a bit though...then step back outside to reality (it must have been -20C with the wind chill factor here today) :)
Enjoy the show!

Well good luck with your deal and hope it all works out for you. Where are you boating?

Kevin
