I'm not sure--this might be an old joke, but a fellow boater sent this to me and it cracked me up. I was ready for a laugh as I look out the window at the snow coming down steadily.

Dear Abby,

I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice.

I've been suspecting for some time now my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs are phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been "going out with the girls" a lot lately. She tells me "just some friends from work, you don't know them." I always try to stay awake to look for her coming home, but I always fall asleep. Last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her. Around midnight, I decided to hide next to the garage behind my boat so I could get a good view of her returning from a "night with the girls". When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse.

It was at that moment, crouching behind my boat that I noticed some hairline cracks in the gelcoat, right where the hull sides meet the transom. Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it to a professional for repairs?
