No friggin' way. Never.
1. Facebook is like a bathroom wall that everyone writes on except real bathroom walls are more interesting.
2. Facebook gives needy people a place to go where everyone knows their name. Like "Cheers" without booze and good writing.
3. Facebook is like patting yourself on the back: nobody's stimulated except you.

Obviously 175 million people don't agree, that is fine with me.

I agree with capt morgan that facebook is not for me. My wife and I like good old fashioned
E-mail. I think there's a reason we lost touch with people from the past.

My boss made me get one (I am in sales) and I use it for work, as well as LinkedIn and Naymz. I do not use it for personal purposes. My wife, on the other hand, is on hers all the time though. More of a girl-thing IMO, but I guess it has it's benefits for all.

I use it as a way to see one of the things the kids are involved with.

Hate it. Why people feel the need to update the world on the most mundane trivialities in their life baffles me. Twitter and Facebook are contributing to a total lack of actual social skills that will be so obvious in another generation. I guess these platforms give folks some false sense of community that really only exists in cyberspace.

My wife and daughter are hooked on it. :P

Have one, use it for work as I am in sales…but mainly for weekend “hookups” while my wife is out of town or if I am on the road.

Classic. However, it has been recently reported that Facebook and other social networking sites are responsible for 20% of divorces (or at least cited as part of the reason).
