So I just came across these, http://www.biminiclip.com and http://www.buysnapcapps.com/ on another forum I frequent. Anyone use them?

Does anyone know off hand what size the bimini rails are that Four Winns uses? I'm guessing 7/8", but I'd rather know for sure before I spend some cash on the bimini clips.

I'm sure the rails on our '99 are 7/8". I haven't seen these clips before but they look interesting. We do have the pop lids and they work great (no spills!).

Mine uses the 7/8". I just bought a set of the Bimini Clips at the boat show in KC a few weeks back and test fit when I got home. I think some PVC pipe would do the same.

Bimini clips work well. They will hold a beach towel to the bimini frame snugly over the canvas of the bimini top or on the plain stainless rails. I have two paks of them and have not lost a single clip after two seasons.

Nice to be able to keep afternoon sun off a sunburn or to just to keep direct sun off of the dash when your sitting on the beach.

Most FourWinns use 7/8" tubing, unless you have a large boat, 26ft or larger may or may not have larger tubing.

I'm betting on 7/8". My boat is a 26' or larger.

Thanks for the PVC clip idea. Our bimini is 7/8", and 1" pvc works perfect. I made a sample/test pcs from some scrap pipe out of the garage, and luckily the bimini is in the basement. I know have a project for tomorrow.

I saw these (bimini clips) on overton's website a while back and was planning on getting some before this season started. Looks like a great idea.
