So I looked for my local dealer in GA and Four Winns lists Gainesville Marina. I called them and they stated they no longer do business with Four Winns. Can anyone in Atlanta tell me where you take your FW for service? |

The dealer is in Alabama. Go to the Four Winns site and plug in your zip code and it will pop up. |

What work are you trying to have performed? I am confused about the response from the marina mechanic. Assuming this is not warrantee work (on your 2003 year Horizon) and the work you need performed is on the drive or engine, any VP mechanic should be able to help you. Even the ones that used to deal Four Winns. |

Gainsville Marina was listed as THE dealer for Four Winns at the Atlanta Boat Show 2 weeks ago. Must have been a bad show for them ?? .............. From their sales manager: Quote: At this time we are not a Four Winns dealer and to the best of my knowledge there is not a Four Winns dealer in our area. Four Winns amongst several of the other Genmar boat companies were sold in January and I am sure Four Winns will be looking for a new dealer in Atlanta soon. As for warranty issues, I suggest you contact the Four Winns factory for a direction.

Interesting...I bought my SS from Gainesville Marina last May. According to Gainesville Marina, FW pulled the dealer status from them to go to a bigger outfit with regional presence, Singleton Marine. Four Winns was on the Singleton Marine Group website for a while and I got some help from Boats with Gusto on Lake Oconee (one of their locations) last summer. Four Winns is no longer listed on the Singleton Marine site. Neither dealer brought a Four Winns to the Atlanta show. Actually, no dealer brought a Four Winns. Gainesville had a bunch of Benningtons and Singleton brought Cobalts, Regals, Nautiques and Harris Flote Boats. I am still impressed with the Gainesville staff. I didn't go back to Lake Lanier after picking up the boat, but they still remembered me at the show a couple weeks ago and we talked quite a while about my first season. They did a great job prepping my boat and I'd recommend them if you can get them to help with the platform. They seem to be doing all right with the Benningtons, but my salesman said they'd like to get FW back. Another option might be Athens Marine (athensmarine.com) but they're primarily a Stingray dealer. They do have a couple '09 FW's listed in their inventory. |

In fact there are other marine outfits closer to my boat that will do it as well. The problem is getting the part! If you go online FW website points you at this dealer to get the parts and do the install. I guess I need to find a dealer that has this in stock and is willing to ship... |

Email or call the folks at Winnisquam Marine (http://www.winnisquammarine.com/). They give iFourWinns members a discount and were super helpful. I ordered factory SS cupholders for my H230 and they had them drop shipped to my house direct from Four Winns for way cheaper than I could have bought them in a store or aftermarket. I was very impressed with the service and pricing I received. |
