i have been looking into redoing parts of my upholstery and this looks pretty interesting. If you do go through with it I would love to hear your thoughts and experience. Its a nice alternative to the do it yourselfer who doesn't have the equipment or skills to put together the actual covers.

Nice Find. Looks very interesting. Let us know if you decide to use them and how it goes. I have thought about redoing a few of mine. Mine are by no means shot just yet, but you can tell they are 12 years old.

This would be a good service for upholstery but I would be very leary about sending them canvas. A buddy of mine does upholstery at home and he has stopped making pieces for people that just bring him the old part... too many times has it not fit properly due to shrinkage and he ends up adding in extra material or making a new piece.

Good point. I made that exact mistake with my transom carpet on my old boat. By the time the old carpet got to the manufacturer, it had shrunk and new piece barely fit. Too bad we can't get exact patterns from Four Winns for our covers.
