Gang, I'm curious about just how bad is it... for your boat to be in the water through the winter with shrink-wrap vice being stored on land with shrink-wrap. This year I took the boat out of the water and it is in storage, with shrink-wrap and I see lots of boats that stay in the water with shrink-wrap and I'm wondering if I am just wasting money paying storage... we live in Maryland and the boat would be in a cove off the Chesapeake bay if it were to stay in the water. Mild freezing possible. comments? thanks, Stacy |

I was in Boston not long ago... and the marina's in Cambridge off the Charles River all had boats in the water with shrink wrap. As long as you don't get severe icing - it's just fine. Regardless, you'll need to have your hull cleaned. |
