I can't wait to get that sucker in the water. It was 63 degrees here yesterday and I am ready to begin getting the boat ready.

Yep, a couple of days in the 50's and low 60's this week, and our marina will be looking much better with NO ice.

Wow Capn, beautiful marina... whats the name of it? We haven't been over to the Lake Michigan side of the state (except Traverse where we didn't leave the bay) We were thinking of making a trip or two that way this year.

Well guys. Whilst you are waiting for the ice to melt, I have to wait for the water level in Cape Coral to raise enough so I can get my boat off the lift. Last weekend was such a shame. Beautiful sun, no wind, but not enough water to get off the boat lift ;-(

Our marina is in northern Michigan (Suttons Bay) so we still have a lot of snow.

Makes me grateful that I'm in the North West, we may have to deal with 8 months of rain but we have camped on the boat at least 1 night/month for the last 14 months. We've been out 4 of the last 5 weekends :) even had ice on the boats in the morning a few times.

We are FINALLY having some decent weather here in Dallas. If I had a cruiser like many of you do, we would have already been out...and probably would have been all winter anyway. Supposed to be 73 here on Sunday. I am about to order my maintenance items to get the boat ready for summer.

After a very warm, virtually snowless winter up here they're saying that ice-out should be about a month ahead of normal. That should make the water a lot warmer when it's time to put the boat on it's mooring in May. It's usually around 45 degrees...I'm hoping for the 50's.
