Went and got my boat from storage today and she is now back in my driveway. I better get out there and get something done, lots of work to due before we launch which is the only reason I picked it up so soon. Its only I think 35 degress or so and I am headed outside to work on the boat! Not so bad as it is a cuddie and I have it backed into my garage as far as the windshield so no wind anyway. It will keep my beer cold while I work!

It hit 55 deg and clear today. I did some yard work, and was thinking, sure wish boat was out of storage to start working on this years projects/modifications. Hopefully soon.

Any mods in the plans for this weekend, or just spring maintenance?

It hit 70 degrees here today!!

Unfortunately I'm boatless at the moment until I pick up the new boat in a few weeks.

Would have been a nice day to put a coat of wax on. Instead I did yard work all day. :|

It was a great week up here in ontario. 60 F but has droped back down to just above freezing. Have had the boat out of storage for over a week and have got the cabin in pieces as I'm installing a windlass.

It was 62F yesterday 8)

In the last 24 hours we got about 5" of snow

Looks like I won't be uncovering the boat for atleast another week or two.

Otherwise I am ready to install PP, under-swim deck LEDs, another stereo remote, and water/air temp + depth finder.

We celebrated the first day of spring by going boat shopping! Unfortunately, spring decided not to show up. Saturday was colder that it's been in two weeks. The boat we saw was still shrink wrapped, all the others are still not accessible yet.

Well, I had intentions of washing and waxing mine this past weekened...but alas...we got snow in Dallas again...very strange. This week and weekend look VERY promising to get the wash/wax done. I have my spring maintenance parts on order...if they get here fast enough, I will do that this weekend also.

Congrats on getting your spring commissioning started!

Exactly! 4 in of snow for the first day of spring in TX. What the ****? It is time and all of us are ready. It's getting exciting, so ready for the first splashdown of the season.

I always give it a good wash/wax before it's put in storage (plus I put the trailering cover on it) for winter. I've been to storage recently to check on her and she looks like new. Surfaces are shiny and slick so I'll probably won't do another wax until end of season, but many washes throughout the summer.
