Because it's cold, it's wet, it's the winter from H-E-doubletoothpicks, and I'm SICK OF IT, I'm in the mood for pics. This video from last summer warms my cold heart... welcome to the muddy, shallow waters of Lake Perry, north of Topeka, KS. This is north of party cove (which is empty at this point).

Moonrise at sunset. You can see the last bit of sun shining on the trees out on the island dead ahead. Helluva storm moving in that night had the water pretty choppy as well

Last cruise of the year in November 2009, took her out back to the storage unit and put her to sleep after this ride. :cry:

Awesome pics all! Kelleyo's 2nd pic reminds me of what Lake of the Ozarks was like when I was a kid. Real cabins, wooden steps, 2-story docks that the kids actually used (as opposed to being the butler's quarters)...

Wives in bikinis, kids having a ball, leaves on the FRIGGIN' TREES, I'm feeling warmer already.
