Not to rub it in, but we fired the boat up Saturday. I would like to make my public stance on SeaFoam. IT WORKED GREAT! Poured it in the tank for the last trip out, Came home, drained all the water from the engine, pulled the batt, and that was it. I charged the batt every month or so in the winter. The engine turned over about eight times before it lit and purred like a kitten...

Well !! If we are taking a stand on items I vote for.... Nothing! Last Fall I let the fuel run as low as I dared. Drained the block (added plumber's antifreeze down the hoses) and parked her in the garage. Friday I put 25 gallons of premium fuel in the tank and went for a ride... No Problems

SeaFoam is a wonderful thing. It can prevent a lot of problems, and even better... it can cure some too! It gets any gunk out of carbs, injectors, and the whole system. Between snowmobiles, motorcycles, lawnmowers, summer cars and the boat, I use a lot of Seafoam and have had lots of success with it! |

Being the family mechanic I get to be the guy who gets to fix motors with gummed up carbs, ect... I am a firm believer in using fuel stabilizers, whether it be Sea Foam or Stabil brands. While some get away without using and think they are ok, some fuel separation has occurred but performance was not noticed by the operator. Fuel only has approx 30 day shelf life, then it starts to separate and gums/varnishes are forming. While using stabilizers are a personal preference, I have never had any fuel related issues, or fuel system gummed up on any of my internal combustion motors. A ounce of prevention is so worth the pound of cure. |

Seafoam is an amazing tool! We use a lot at work on Forklifts that run on LP gas and works awesome for freeing up a sticky valve or cleaning the carb out. |
