Looks like our favorite boatbuilder's website has some new information. Through my brief poking around, I have noticed the following:

-New 180 LE is now shown on it's own page.

-SS boats have their own tab, and the SS option is now available on all H series boats (including the H310!)

-Suggested prices are back in the "build your boat" section, and these include the new catalyst engine options

-No more Sundowner boats (a shame)

-limited canvas options in the "build your boat" section, but still shown in the "canvas options" part of the website

I'm sure there is more......

I was poking around there yesterday and also noticed they FINALLY have a REAL facebook page...link at the bottom of the main page.

I also noticed that the 5.0L is no longer an option in the H200SS.

Now if I can just convince NADA that they really did make the SS in 2006.

They've also updated some pics to show the new instruments and new style seats, but a lot of their pics are still from 2008.

Since NADA is based on averages, is it possible that not many units were sold in '06 to hit there data base??
You would only care about NADA if you were trying to sell........is there an upgrade/newer/larger boat in your near future?

I also noticed if you price out a boat....on average...those wonderful cat converter equipped engines add about 3 grand to the price....

Greg, awesome to see you here!

I wonder if the marina will be open any earlier this year? I did put the request in to move to the same berth beside you, so no more visions of nasty pontoon boats stuck beside either on of us!

We are waiting anxiously now to take posession of the new boat, hopefully within the next few weeks.

Hope to see you out on the water soon.

FW now has 3 versions of the 180??? 180, 180LE, and 180SS. I suppose 4 if they offer the fish/ski model too.

I wonder what they are thinking have 3 models of a low margin boat? Guess the 180 is a big seller...but i dunno.

Well, for a change, they WERE actually thinking. The entry level boats are affordable for many first time boaters. Many of the builders are offering entry level boats at affordable prices to lure people back into boating. Ebbtide just came out with an 18 footer budget model.Bayliner has dusted off the old molds for their 16 ft. OB powered bowrider, and a few others have followed suit. Low margin boats that sell, are better than not selling at all.

Makes sense. Then you get people hooked, and like me, stay with the brand.

And we all know what an entry level boat leads too . . .. If I were a builder I'd make the best damn 18-20 footers out there because I think boaters are brand loyal if they are happy. Heck, they ought to not fear taking marginal losses by upscaling the boat better than the competition. SS cupholders, finished storage areas, good carpet, good vinyl etc.
