Waited till the beginning of this season for my 20hr check. Booked it for yesterday (Friday) and arrived at the marina at 8:15 am and boat was done a few hours later. I had them back me down the ramp so I could take a ride myself (who wouldn't...right?). Well, I had absolutely zero volunteers from anyone at the marina (employees etc.) to go out with me so I had to go by myself. I really don't know what the big deal was...it was a balmy 38 degrees and it was sleeting/snowing. If anyone was in New Hampshire yesterday they can attest to that. But, I had yet to operate at full throttle and could not pass up the chance as I was the only boat in sight. Sleet really hurts when it hits your forehead while underway! Weather aside, I had a great time...I just love being on the water.

The looks I got from cars going by on the roads were priceless. Who cares if they think I'm nuts.

Anyone else ever go out in the snow?? It was a first for me.

Reading that brings me back some 30 years ago when I still lived in Minnesota. We would water ski into the fall/winter as long as we could. I remember skiing with wet suits on a lake near Chanhassen a burb of Minneapolis and it was snowing. It wasn't bad when you were skiing but in the boat is was cold as hell.

Easter, last year - the admiral and I pushed through a snow/rain/sleet storm to get the boat delivered for bottom paint.

Nice work!

The day I test drove my 260 is was snowing. Nothing better than 50 mph on the water in November in a snowstorm.
