What do you guys use to unscrew the middle duoprop screw if you don't have the tool? 150$ is kind of steep for 1 tool. |

Not sure where your getting that price from....but I bought mine from a local VP dealer for $25. I use same tool as above from eBay. However the wrench is not long enough to put much force for little guy like me so I use ½”D 2eet long stainless steel rod for extra twisting power. |

I have the heavy shop version of the prop tool. The only picture I have is from when I painted it, in the middle here:  I paid around $60 on eBay but I don't see them there at the moment. I like it because I can put my torque wrench on it - which also means I don't need 3 men and a boy to get the nut back off. |

The one I made is similar, except I've welded a bolt on top to get a socket on it. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't have a bolt with a 30mm hex head like the rear prop nut, I had to use a smaller one, so I need a different socket for the front and rear props. I also drilled holes in the sides for a bar! Graham |
