It was a beautiful day here in Kentucky yesterday. The family and I went to the lake and had a blast. I managed to get my wife to take a couple of pictures of me and the boat. I realize these aren't exciting --They do not contain beautiful women or people flying from tubes, but still thought I would share

Eric- We went to Laurel Lake, I live about an hour north. The lake was in great shape, water was clear and actually not too cold. I was pleasantly surprised given the recent flooding. We will probably go back next week, or possibly Cumberland. I have never been to Norris, I would like to check it out sometime. Do you know what condition it is in? |

Our home Lake was Laurel for the last few years. We loved it and the water is always so beautiful there. We are moving to Norris this year because that is where all our friends like to boat. We went out about 3 hours last weekend and it was beautiful. Water was surprising clear and clean even with all the rain. Water temperature was not bad either. With all the 80 degree days this week--next weekend should be great. I can't wait--not good since it is only Monday. |

Maybe an odd question, but is that PFD you are wearing? And why? Is it a law down there? |

Yes, it is a PDF, and no it's not the law. Two reasons I was wearing one- 1) I was riding a jet ski just moments before. 2)The photos would have probably not developed due to the excessive amount of bright white light coming from my torso! (It is still very early in the suntan season) |

Nice pics. Couple of us are hauling our boats down to Cumberland for the weekend of June 4th to watch these amazing boats! http://www.lakecumberlandgrandprix.com/ Put in at Conley bottom friday afternoon and stay til Monday. Eric, do you ever boat at Brookville? I think I've seen a black FW that always remind me of my old boat out there occassionaly. |

I have never boated at Brookville, but have always been curious to try it. It would be nice to have something closer to home. Norris is awesome--but a 3-hour drive. We typically keep the boat down there--so at least I am not towing all that way. Cumberland is great too. Hasn't been quite the same since all the damn work began, but it is still beautiful and is always a good time. |
