| Post subject: | Quebec Fires |
There were 60+ fires burning in Quebec the past few days. We're over 400 miles to the south, but it was amazing how strong the smell was and how much smoke came down this past weekend. Thankfully the latest news says that cooler weather and a little rain is helping to get them under control. |

This is wildfire, right, or what we here in Australia call Bushfire? Last year we had 173 people killed about an hour away from me in bush fires - the worst natural disaster in Australia's history. I'm not sure whether the fires you're referring to are in inhabited areas, if so I hope everyone got out in time. JB |
