Our first weekend with the new boat (new to us). Our friend snapped this picture of us on her Blackberry. Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!

Your photo makes me want to get back to Norris. We went 4 hours to Barkley, and could have gone 3 1/2 to 4 hours to Norris. Norris beats Barkley hands down for boating. We had a great time anyway.

Mate, you're not on her Blackberry, you're on a boat!

Seriously, great pic, glad you are enjoying your new toy.

Sun setting on the Ohio River 43 miles South of Pittsburgh, Pa. Its not Norris Lake but its close to home. We'll be at Norris the 2nd week of July, our 5th trip. Also have been on Cumberland, Barkley, and Kentucky. All great places to boat.

Were right in Chester WV, Holiday Yacht club. We spend a couple of winter months in Rotunda Fl.

French,

Where on Norris do you stay? We stayed at lakeside estates last time off of Cedar Creek.

Our home Marina is Twin Cove in Caryville. We usually stay in a Hampton, but we also rent houses or cabins occasionally. We are renting a floating house for a week at the end of this month at Whitman Hollow.

We've stayed at the Willows at Twin Cove. It was real nice, with a decent little bar and music by the water at night. The condo we had was top notch, with marble, stainless, flat screens, hottub, huge showers, new furniture... I'd love to go back - its just a bit far for me, and just farther than going to Cumberland, which I adore for boating as well.
