Hiya Folks.....just wondered if any of ya'all boat on the on the Mississippi? |

Not saying I wouldn't, I just nevetr have. I have boated on the Ohio though. River boating is a GREAT time, except the debris dodging |

Yes, we were out on the Mississippi at the Quad Cities. We went south to the lock at Muscatine. It was just gorgeous. Just watch the wing dams! |

Yes, do watch the wing dams. Make sure you invest in the river navigation charts or print them off the Corps website. Actually I do usually print out the few miles of chart I need each time I head out on the river. When I go to the Mississippi, it's usually at Dubuque or above Guttenburg. I see we're all getting the bug to get on the water, but I suspect it may be a bit chilly just yet. |
