Launched about One this afternoon, just the wife and I and headed up the Columbia River to Richland and the floated down for a while. Water was pretty choppy, but that wasn't keeping the boaters out today. Easily 100 boats. We decided to head down to the Clover Island and hit the Ice Harbor Brewery for lunch. Weather in the mid 90s, but it was a perfect afternoon. Great weather, food, company and best of all no boat issues.
As we pulled out about Five, there were 3 broken boats sitting at the dock really messing up those of us wanting to come in and those trying to launch, of course they were all at three different bays, plus the kids and families without boats had taken over one slip so they could jump in the water. I would offer to help but there appeared to be a language barrier with all three owners. So I maneuvered around them and on to the trailer.
I love my boat!
