Yes, we finally took it on the water yesterday!!!!! All I can say is "WOW!!" Almost a 1000 hp feels really good! Boat handled really well too. The wind was blowing around 25 to 30 the whole time with large white caps and we did not even feel it. Sorry, but the wife forgot the camera on the charger at home. We will take it out again in the next day or so and get some along with video. I was at around two thirds throttle breaking in the engines a bit and one of my sons said his gps was at 64 mph. I know we were moving at a good clip anyways. All in all it went well until the soft plug blew out of the back of the head for the exhaust. ![]() ![]() Got loud quick ![]() I guess the 10.25 to 1 compression got the best of that little plug ![]() ![]() I am going out to the shop today and loctite another on in........... |

Those Liberators, very rare in the UK. Is a 261 really 26' ? with twin big blocks!! If so, seems FW have gone a bit soft in terms of performance boats since! Graham |
