We have about 8 weeks till our new 348 goes in. It is getting very tough waiting. It was almost 50 with bright blue skis yesterday.

I am taking a boating course this week, when it is completed in 4 weeks, it will be time to put the boat into he water. Although it may be a bit early for swimming.

Good to hear Fred...It's about damned time! Did you secure a storage spot for the boat?

The move is conditional on us selling our home. My retirement date is 08/31/07. The housing market is just horrible, but it only takes one buyer! We are heading down Friday for a couple of weeks to do some painting to our Florida home and get things ready for the move.

As far as boat storage I found a couple of places in Sarasota that seem reasonable. Another idea is renting a dock with a lift ($250 per month) that is just minutes from the ICW.

Couple of things you may want to do while here. The Strawberry Festival is going on through to the end of next week in Plant City. Also, the Bay Area Renaissance Festival is also running in Tampa (near MOSI) thru the first weekend in April.

If your going to be here the 24th of March, your welcome to cruise with us on the east coast. We are spending the weekend in Sebastian at Captain Hirams.
