Not saying I wouldn't, I just nevetr have. I have boated on the Ohio though. River boating is a GREAT time, except the debris dodging

Yes, we were out on the Mississippi at the Quad Cities. We went south to the lock at Muscatine. It was just gorgeous. Just watch the wing dams!

Yes, do watch the wing dams. Make sure you invest in the river navigation charts or print them off the Corps website. Actually I do usually print out the few miles of chart I need each time I head out on the river. When I go to the Mississippi, it's usually at Dubuque or above Guttenburg. I see we're all getting the bug to get on the water, but I suspect it may be a bit chilly just yet.
