Two ships arrived yesterday. Both are docked next to our marina for the weekend.
This is the 185 ft. Bark Europa entering the Muskegon Channel yesterday.

Both ships are in port until sometime Sunday when they will leave for Chicago. I'll be out on the water
Sunday and try and get some more pictures as they depart.

Is that picture of them coming in, or out? It seems odd that they'd have almost all sails deployed that close to shore. Maybe they aren't as close as they look (and, I'm no sailor!)?

That is inside the channel coming in to port. Wind was very lite last night, so they could keep the
sails up.

Hey Cap'n,

We will be passing thru the Muskegon area tomorrow morning on our way to White Lake and would love to stop and see the Tall Ships time/weather permitting. Is there somewhere you could recommend to dock for a couple of hours to see the ships and grab some lunch? Thanks!

Yes. Stop at our marina. You can dock next to our boat, we have an open slip. It's about 50 yards away from our dock where both ships are.
I'll send you a PM with info.
