So as some of you know I write boating articles for both my local area as well as nationally for an online magazine. I have a few articles I am putting together and I am looking for some input from everyone...

1. One article will be about "What boaters do over winter to pass the time until spring"

2. Another is a compilation of "Favorite boating music", both songs related to boating and those you all like to listen to while boating.

If anyone has some thoughts or ideas feel free to put them down, if you dont mind having your name tossed in the article them PM me with your name, location and boat also...

My input for the music article....Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, and Jimmy Buffett. My boating playlist is made up almost entirely of those three with the majority going to the one and only Mr. Buffett.

Other possible topics for articles
- Boat names and the stories behind them
- Cruising destinations for the under 40' crowd (look at different areas around the country)
- Resort marinas....kind of ties in with the above suggestion. We have a few of those on the Chesapeake that are geared towards families. Like a campground, but for a boat.

I totally agree with the cruising destinations for the under 40' crowd! I hardly ever see articles
about getting the maximum use out of a pocket cruiser. I'm so tired of seeing boating mags so focused on million dollar yachts(covers, stories, ect.), who do they really think is buying their $4.95 magazine?
