This is the first year that I haven't been able to find indoor storage for my boat over the winter. Unfortunately my boat will not fit in my garage and there are no indoor facilities close to me where I could set it up for the winter. My only option at this point is to store it at the boat storage place around the corner from the lake, outside (it does not have indoor storage facilities and my HOA won't allow me to store my boat next to or behind my house). I have till about mid-october before I have to worry about winterizing my boat, but was wondering what others did. Is it worth getting your boat wrapped? Do you put the trailer on blocks to get the tires off the ground? I appreciate any input or ideas to lessen the headache this has caused me.

I have always stored our old H-200 in the driveway, I got a custom cover for it and built a support structure kind of like a convertible top frame to support it when it snows...if you don't get heavy snow the canvas covers can work well if supported...but if you do the shrink wrap may be better but more expensive over time. Just make sure they wrap it after it dries out and they put in vents or else you can have mildew everywhere depending on your winter temp/humidity.....

The cover lets me work on it in the winter and open it up to air it out...and charge the batteries every couple of months....

Check this thread for a portable storage unit that might work for you.

I guess I'm lucky since I'm in a rack that's based on an annual fee so no additional storage costs for me. As for a cover, I have gone the shrink wrap road in the past but I hate spending that much money on something I'm just going to (literally) toss in the trash 4 months down the road. Not sure what I'm going to do this year with the new to us boat....my buddy bought a giant tarp that he puts around his 30' Maxum cruiser. Last year I teased him about the Hefty bag he put around his boat but I have to admit it held up really well, protected the boat better than most of the shrink wrapped boats (many had issues with the blizzard conditions this year), and it's reusable. I think he paid $150 for the tarp and maybe another $100 for the materials he used to build the support structure for it. I may go that route this year.
