I started making myself a list tonight of the things that need to be done or I plan to do this fall/winter... whoa... there's a lot to do. Post your "to do"... it may remind us of the things that we/others may need to do to. 8) I'm sure there are many more things that will need to be added to mine.

-Shift Cable... it seems there's a better replacement and my wife has a little trouble with ours, so the old will be replaced. (Teleflex Xtreme cable-thanks Aussie!)
-Oil & Filter/winterize... man this year has gone fast... it's almost time to put it away already.
-Impeller replace... don't know if it's been replaced... I'll check it out.
-Outdrive oil
-Speakers... the 4 Sony's could be better... we'll replace those shortly.
-CD Player... original could be better
-Cleaners (hull & interior)... typical clean before winter.
-Wash/wax & detail
-Check for lose nuts/bolts ect
-Skis... need to pick up a new set of skis and slalom ski over the winter
-Wakeboard... Need to do a little homework and pick up a decent one over the winter.
-Ski Ropes... time for a couple new good ones...
-Sew Cover... need to mend the bow cover just a bit.
-Charge Battery... keep it charged over the winter
-F4 or F5 Prop... going to drop down from our F6 for wakeboarding and kneeboarding...
-Clips for bimini top... need to find a few of these for reserve and to replace one...
-Skier mirror

Wish list...
-Perfect Pass... this may be the biggie... our H220 may get one of these.
-Tower... very unlikely simply because I don't know that I can justify this... but it can still be on my wish list. :D

Items added after original post
-Spare pin for trailer (swinging tongue)
-Pull off old number/letters for something a little sharper
-Possibly add some kind of graphics
-A name for the boat?? May need to officially name our H220
-Replace anodes

Oddly enough, no "Walt's Mod's" scheduled for this year! I've already replaced the H2O pump, and have picked up most of the stuff for my seasonal maint.

FYI... check out iBoats for your ski's and wakeboards... I bought a board last year and love the bindings. At under $150 for a package, you can't beat the price!

Typical winterize & preventive maintaince tasks on the must-do list.

After the must dos....

Take old name off the boat and put new name on (after the property ceremony of course)...with any luck that will happen this weekend

Add pedestal mount to swim platform for the grill...again, hoping for this weekend

Mark off the rode in 10 foot increments so I know how much I'm putting out when dropping the anchor....had this on the old boat and loved it. No more guessing on whether or not I have enough line out for the water depth and conditions.

Change out Sony head unit for a newer one with an aux input and iPod control capability

TV antenna...boat has a mount and connection on the arch, but no antenna

Look for an alternative to the deck screen hatches.....those bungee cord screen things are a pain!

Price LED lights for the following and install if it fits the budget:
- overhead lights in cabin
- courtesy lights in cockpit
- nav lights
- swim platform
- tri-color radar arch lights
- maybe a couple under platform lights (underwater would be cool but I hate making holes below the waterline)

Figure out why my 120 outlets in the cockpit don't work

Pull out the Sony 10 Disk CD Changer and replace with a cubby or something....I'm never going to use that thing. My newest CDs are probably 10 years old.

Come up Walt!!! There's got to be some more you can add to the list... that's such a cool thread! 8)

I'll be sure to check out Iboats... thanks for the heads up. :)

For those wanting to replace their speakers, I have qty 4 (6 months old) JL 6.5's model M650-CCX with trim rings that I am wanting to sell. These speakers kick axx but I want 7.7's.

I also have 4 clarion 6.5's and a clarion 10" sub (original equipment) that I will sell

PM me if your interested

Not sure if we will keep this boat for next year, but if we do, here is what she needs.

Replacing the stock captains with a bolster seat. This is a must, since the kids love sitting in the bow and Its nearly impossible to see without standing.
The next would be a swim platform, that other members have talked me into. The more I think about it, the more it sounds like a Necessity, rather than a luxury.
I will also replace the stock head unit with something that has an Ipod attachment.
Lastly, since we bought this boat used, its in dire need of a goooooood buffing. The white hull is near perfect, but the blue gel coat on the side is very sun faded.

Thats all I have to do. LOL 3 grand, and its done. Thats all

If you are replacing your shifter cable Shawk, make sure you use a Teleflex Xtreme cable - these are much better than stock and shift like a hot knife through butter. I could not believe the difference on mine!

Perfecto Aussie! thank you... I knew there was one to use... that's the one. Appreciate the heads up. 8)

To Do (not in any particular order):

a) Full service winterization. My guess is I'm going to get a new set of u-joints after my mechanic pulls the drive. I started to feel a vibration late in the season when turning hard. I know it had water intrusion before I took ownership from a cracked boot.
b) New throttle and shift cables. Mine takes a man sized push to move in and out of gear, and after I broke a piece of the shift linkage on the lower unit early in the year, I'm thinking best to start new.
c) Free up swing away trailer tongue. I don't think the previous owner ever used the swing away option, and it's probably rusted pretty good.
d) Clean up LED wiring. I thought of a better way after I had it all hooked up, so now I want to clean it up a bit under the helm.
e) Wash, wax, polish, wax, polish, wax, etc. My boat sat outside for over a year before I bought it this spring. The dealer got the gel coat back to "good" condition before I took ownership, and I improved a little from there. But it's still not good enough for my taste. Hopefully by spring it will look brand new. By the way, I do the same for my Harley all winter long, too. It doesn't need it, but it typically has about 4 coats of wax on it by Spring each year.
f) Touch up trailer paint. Just have a few minor spots I want to get before they become problems.
g) New anchor rope. I don't have near enough line.

Wish List (in order of likelihood):
a) Change out speakers (most likely Polks)
b) Upgrade bilge pump
c) Add onboard charger
d) Expand LED lighting to bow cubbies
e) Convert trailer lights to LED
f) Add pedestal mount grill on swim platform
g) Perfect Pass

Since we dont plan to keep our boat for too much longer, I will simply do some regular service and put her away with the battery charger keeping the batteries maintained.
