Hello all! Just picked up a new 2008 H220 frenzy VP Gi/Dp. Hoping to get a few more warm days to splash it, before the season ends. Very cool forum, I will post some pics when I figure out how. This is my 1st Four Winns, traded in my Chris Craft. I went out today for a short run in crappy weather and it lived up to the hype. What a great boat!! Hope everyone has a great long weekend!

FW generally delivers boats to their dealers with aluminum anodes, since they don't know what type of water the boat will be used in (aluminum is an all-around material - but not the best for any particular water type). If you'll be in mostly fresh water, you should make sure they've been changed to magnesium. If in salt, they should be zinc.

Dealers should be proactive enough to educate their buyers on this issue and participate in making sure the right anodes are installed at delivery time, but it seems very few of them do that. The wrong anodes can result in very expensive repairs involving a lot of down time.

GREAT looking boat!! Love the graphics on the SS models... I'm going back and forth whether or not to add some kind of graphics to mine before next season. :? I like 'em clean but I like 'em with graphics too... :mrgreen:

Btw... is your prop an F5 DP? Mine came with an F6 and I'm making the change to an F4 or F5...
