This dog loves camping at the lake, but he does not like riding in the boat. He makes a great camp watch dog!! notice him laying by the "Beer Cooler"

The Brittney will ride in the boat, hike, swim, hunt lizzards, chase minnows by the shore and even ride a jet ski.

So true, we have three schnoodles that love going out on the boat, however, the oldest, when told we're going out on the boat tomorrow, almost stays awake all nite, pining to go...

He absolutely loves the water and we can't keep him out of it. Here's a pix of him on the hot dog and next year I'm gonna try to get him up on waterskies (modified of course).

We have mini Schnauzers. They love the boat. Here are pics from our old Sea Ray and our new Four Winns:

Here is our Australian Terrier. The dog goes nuts when it is Friday afternoon and time to go to the boat. Other than that, it is clueless. Worthless animal.

You guys are all nuts!
I had a lab (had to have her put down August 31/2010 after 12 years and ten months) that I took on the boat once or twice. She lost hair, stank up the carpet and was a pain because every time you stopped she'd be off the back swimming and I had to lift her onto the swimplatform where she would promptly jump back in!
She had a good life but boating did not become part of it. I would take her swimming in the morning before we would leave for the day and then she would spend the rest of the day in the yard (invisible fence).

Thanks Marc, I was going to leave that one alone. My wife would love to have our (her) Springer Spaniel on board (So would I, and the dog does love it), but the hair loss is out of control. I hate it after the dog has been on board. EVERYTHING is coated with a layer of hair ................... just like the house.
