Looks like the warm days of summer are gone (for us anyway)... local forecast 50's - 60's after today. Chilly!!! Took the boat out for a final run a week ago with temps in the high 70's... :)
For some reason... there wasn't another boat on the lake... (hmmm, I wonder why?)

If you have a few pics... let's see 'em. 8)

Great pics, looks like fun. Forecast here tomorrow is 90+ and the kids are out of school. Would be a great day to slip off to the lake, but something called work has to get in the way. Can't go boating if I can't buy gas 8)

Saturday's high is upper 70s and storms, what a difference a day makes. Still have hope for another day on the water, just without water sports

I was going to attach a disclaimer that the dates on photos were not reliable. We NEVER adjust the date on our cameras... reverts back every time it gets new batteries :)

We're on the way... see you Fri! 8) IF we can get in the water here... then you can do it where you're at. :D

 I can imagine 60mph is going to burn that gas up in a hurry.

That's exactly what I thought... That's MOVING for a 5000+ lb boat... burn rate is only 29 gph... shouldn't take long to get rid of a little gas at that rate. However all of our boats are guzzlers at WOT.

Only 29 gph at that speed must be nice....I burn around 25 gph at 30 mph.

Cold and windy for liftout in Meaford, Ontario, Canada yesterday. The boat('03 298 Vista) is tucked away in heated storage. Now......time to think about booking a trip to the Dominican Republic..........

We're not done yet but it's getting close to the end of the season....probably about 4 more weeks left. This past weekend was a little chilly though. Here's my 9 year old taking her first driving lesson on twins. She makes the morning look a lot colder than it actually was. We were in the mid-60s on Sunday...she would have you think it was freezing that morning.

We may get one more good weekend of swimming but these were from yesterday (10/09/2010). 86 degrees and the water temp was about 71 to 73. Quite a difference from water temps in the high 80's during the summer. Felt good.

Mother-in-law and 2 1/2 year old son.

He was too afraid to swim all summer but now that it is getting cold, he loves it. Go figure.

We had a beautiful day for our last cruise on Sunday. Our grandson came along for the ride and had a great time.
We dropped it off on the way home at Winnisquam Marine to be winterized so the summer is officially over.

Here's a pic of the Grandson and Admiral:

We had a great weekend up on Lake Michigan.

Waves were forecasted to be one foot or less, and it hasn't been this warm in Chicago, this late in October, since 1975. Fantastic weekend!

We put 136 miles on the boat, and went from Hammond to Chicago to Michigan City then some cruising around Hammond. The best part....more than half the time not another boat in sight! Great end to a great year! We'll be out at least once more this season...need to pump the holding tank out one last time.
