Hmmmm, (not considering the sink and two burner hotplate placement) if you had a choice would you prefer an "L" shape aft seating or a "U" shaped aft seating? Or, would it even matter to most people? What size boat would this be? About a 30 footer? I kinda favor a "U" shape aft seating but that's just me. Mike. |

This is a 32 footer. Me likey the L shape, because of all the extra space in the cockpit. Look at all the room on the starboard side, perfect for a stripper pole  This boat will have a standard full hardtop. |

I'd put the transom door on the port side, then a nice "U" shape aft seating on the starboard side. I find "U" shape seating easier to enjoy company with. Even with the "U" shape seating there would still be room to enjoy the stripper routine.  Heck, you should always be able to make room for the stripper pole...........Mike. |

I prefer the the "U" shape seating myself. Put a big enough swim platform on it, and you will have plenty of room for a stripper pole.  It looks like there's a transom bench seat. Perfect for a stripper pole.

This must be a weekender style boat without an aftcabin? I would like to see the galley behind the drivers seat and a double wide forward facing passenger's seat. A full hard top?.... Very Cool. Do they put some kind of ventilation fan above the galley area to help expel the smoke/fumes? I think it would also benefit from an extended swim platform for "watcher comfort" as the wet kids get back on the platform to jump off again & again & again. I too prefer U shape seating but can see the practicality of such an arrangement to minimize the amount of people shuffling as they need to move around (washroom, get another drink or snack etc...) |

It is a two stateroom boat. Double bunks for the starboard side "mid cabin". The finished boat should be ready for sea trials in mid April. Debut will be in early May. |

The "L" shaped cockpit is becoming more popular. ACguy posted pictures in the Toronto Boat Show thread of the 2011 Rinker 310EC, which he liked. There are some very clever ideas in this boat. Partial cockpit galley with fridge and grill, swiveling captains double helm seat. Small ice bucket on the port side behind the seating with cupholders.    Several adjustment can be made to the L shape seating. Some real thought went into this design.    Aft swim platform seat with storage  Nice ideas for using the available space on a 33 foot LOA boat.

Ok, you sold me.......but only on the third last picture showing the aft seating hood ornament ( or should I say "aft ornament" ). Take that away and I'll still prefer my "U" seat seating configuration. Kidding aside, the long stretch of seating along the port side still isn't ideal for talking or visiting with guests. Really though, it's still all personal preference. Ah, the aft seating hood ornament.....wonder what that's worth? Mike. |

Hands down that Rinker had the best design I have ever seen. The layout was awesome and very practical. Hopefully others who have gone to boat shows around the country got a chance to get on this vessel and see for themselves! |

I bet the interior cabin is huge now that the galley (or a portion thereof) is topsides and I would like to see the interior layout if available. The double bunk in the mid cabin sounds like a Monetery to me. Granted, our own V305 is not the prettiest boat to look at but you have to love the layout and it is obvious that another manufacturer does too. Dare we say that Four Winns was the first US boat mfg that started the trend of the topside galley? |
