i am looking to purchace 262SL which doesnt have trim tabs. does anyone have input on this. thanks

I have them on my 242, I have not ever really NEEDED to use them but they are nice especially on a smaller boat. If everyone sits on one side or if I'm in a cross wind they come in handy. They came from the factory and do not have indicators and they also do not zero out when I turn off the boat, both of which I wish DID happen.

Personally, I would have them added by the dealer. I did not have them on my previous boat but I would think it would be hard to go back. I'm also a sucker for a "gadget".
