Just wanted to give a word of thanks to the people offering information on this site.
Thanks to the information we were able to cut our insurance bill by 50% for equal coverage and in Florida that is a lot of money.

Initially we went with BoatUS simply because they were the only company willing to do hurricane coverage. Geico, Allstate, Statefarm they would do everything except hurricane coverage for 2/3 the premium of BoatUS. We ended up with NBOA and they provided an agreed value yacht policy with a 10% named storm deductible, 2% on everything else. |
