Not sytled for everyone, but these crossover boats (1/2 deckboat, 1/2 bowrider) are becoming more and more popular for the room and storage they offer, and the smooth ride in most conditions. I hope Four Winns looks at making either an SL type or Horizon type 20 to 22 foot outboard powered boat next year. This one I like. Tops out at 51 mph with a 250 HP Verado on a 22 foot boat. Nice. :D

Looks like a SL at a quick glance.

I agree. Starcraft has some sharp looking boats lately, and many offering Outboard power. It's a wise move IMO.

This must be some kind of optical illusion... I don't even SEE a boat?!

That is what I've been talking about...

FW needs to make an SL222 with an OB on a bracket.

I'm with Walt. I've looked 10 times and I still don't see a boat...

Getting pretty close to an all fiberglass pontoon boat there..

Deck type boats are getting very popular for sure, some pull off the look better than others though.

I like that one a lot, I saw the Starcraft ad in Boating Mag and thought the same thing, in fact I discussed this very topic with the Four Winns rep at the Nassau County boat show a few weeks back....
They could really expand their sales in coastal regions of the US and in Europe (Med area) if they offered bigger boats with OBs..
I think the design of that Starcraft, if adapted to the SL series, would appeal to buyers here who want a sport boat but have had bad experiences with I/Os in salt water.....

Not everyone who buys a boat under 25 feet here wants a fishing style boat, but since they are the only OBs available with a few exceptions, that's what people buy. They will by a sport boat with an OB because of the obvious advantages (better power to weigh ratio, less corrosion issues, more room in the boat, easier to winterize, no concern with fuel fumes in the bilge). Many people I know here who have one I/O in salt say "never again" but then they probably did not maintain them that well either....

Honestly the lookout in the port side helm seat seems to be a factory upgrade from the two lookouts in the bow seats......:)

I didn't see that option (bow lookouts) at the last boat show! Nice twins!
