Buffet definitely sets the mood for hanging out on the water. I like the Sirius Margaritaville station (31)... lots of Buffet and similar fare

It depends on who is running the stereo. Anything from the kids' rap and
alternative rock to classic rock and we have been leaving "The Boneyard"
XM channel on quite a bit.

I have to agree with the whole Jimmy Buffett/Radio Margaritaville thing.... Although Back in Black seems to make it into the cd player somehow from time to time. Speaking of music, does anybody else have the factory installed Ipod connection in their new four winns? I have one installed but it only plays on one side of the boat. I haven't told the dealer yet, I will when I go in for my twenty hour. But they said that I was the first person they had order it and didn't know much about them.

it probably is just the connection...there should be a left and right connection to the main head unit....just check to be sure both are plugged in.

Interesting that in that picture the auxillary cord in plugged into the bottom of the Ipod. Is that an Ipod Nano? I have the mini and the only port is the headphone jack. I took it to the Apple store and the guys there said that is correct and that it has to be the auxillary port on the boat. I will double check the connection.

the ipod pictured is a nano.

There are actually 2 cables in the picture...
1. the white cable with the red/white ends that should be plugged into the head unit while you probably only see the black end with the cap on it to plug into from the iPod.

2. the black cable is just a mini din male-to-male cable that you use to plug in to the ipod accessory cable.

Speaking of music, how about Sirius Satellite radio? Not sure how many years FourWinns has been including it on the boat, but is anyone else using it, and if so, are you going to renew it? We enjoyed it --- but not sure it's worth renewing the subscription when it runs out next month. Thought we might use it in the house too, but they get ya --- you have to buy another whole subscription (slight discount) for a house based radio!

...can't hear it when we're WOT anyway. ;)

FW pays for one year. Mine worked for almost three. It just recently quit. I got a letter a little over 1 yr ago thanking me for the continued one year substription. It had a business name after mine that I never heard of. Looks like they had my radio tagged with another.

I don't think I'll pay for it. I usually get on the boat to get away from civilization...

I just renewed ours for the first time. If we don't use it more this summer than we did last, I won't renew it again. I think I'd get more use out of it anywhere but on the boat.

Our boat name is Migration; the second boat we have named as such.

Migration is a title of a Jimmy Buffett song, so you know what we listen to.

mi·grate Pronunciation: 'mI-"grAt
Form(s): mi·grat·ed; mi·grat·ing - verb, mi·gra·tion – noun

1 : to move from one country, place, or locality to another
2 : to pass usually periodically from one region or climate to another for feeding, breeding, or boating.
3 : title of a Jimmy Buffett song.
