Some of these may not have been updated in a while, or it may be worth while to bring gas cans on the boat and stock up at these prices...I paid $4.29 last night to fill up my car.

Updated yesterday, published today. Many of these Marina's have fuel left over from last season, and they sell it at
whatever the end of season price was last year, until it is gone. So those prices could very well be accurate.

It may be cheaper to pull it out (on my trailer), run to the closest gas station and filler up!

In most cases you are doing alright then, as our street price is $5.13 a gallon right now ($1.355/liter)

I have a feeling that marina gas in our area will be around the $5.90 - $6.00 mark for the summer.

Makes me kinda glad I got the 4 banger (again) in this boat!

Yep, I think if you plan to do the same amount of boating this year as last, you'll be spendng a minimum of 50% more this year in fuel.

Mike.

The only dock we normally do any on-water fueling is probably floating free somewhere down the White River in southern Missouri.

$4.83 at our marina on the Illinois River. At least the river is now below flood stage and the marina is open.

I remember when I bought my Carver 406MY in 2003 when gas was around $2.00 a gallon and she took 340 gallons or $680 to fill her up. Now my 298V, which takes 170 gallons to fill up, costs the same $680 at $4.00 a gallon. Incredible! Based on the chart above, when oil hit $112 a barrel back in 2008, the price of gas was $3.35 a gallon. Quite a spread compared to the price today (I guess labor costs have increased  ). No wonder 3 of the top ten list of the Fortune 500 are oil companies. Just pray that oil doesn't go to $147 again.

Never fear, an election is near. Look what oil did right before the 2008 election (starting in July 2008). The bad news is that it looks like we have another year of high (or higher) prices before oil starts to retract. The whole thing is a farce.

Crude dropped like a stone yesterday, I'm sure the pump prices will follow accordingly lol.

Its a no-win situation for the consumer, if the economy sucks oil prices drop, if its starts getting better they go up. Always been that way but its just going to extremes lately. Main difference is now you have an administration that wants high gas prices and would love to see every gas guzzling/pollution spewing recreational boat made into a wind turbine..

I filled up twice this year at 3.38, last years prices and last years gas, today its 4.68.

$4.95/gallon @ Eldean Marina, Holland, MI. However, it is NO Ethanol with ValvTect additive so it is pretty good gas, I don't mind paying a little more for the No Ethanol.
