Our past weekend's weather was pretty crappy and our next couple of days ahead seems not a lot better. But it looks like our upcoming weekends weather (which is the Victoria long weekend here in Canada) is so far looking ok. I am looking forward to running our boat across the lake over to the Michigan side of the US for the long weekend. It'll be our first boating trip of 2011.

Tonight
North winds 10 to 15 knots. Cloudy. A chance of light rain showers through 8 PM...then a slight chance of light rain showers. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
Tuesday
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots...turning to north. Cloudy. A chance of light showers. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
Tuesday Night
North winds 10 to 15 knots...turning to northeast. Light showers likely. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Wednesday
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots...turning to east. Cloudy. A chance of showers through early afternoon...then a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Wednesday Night
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms mainly before midnight...then a chance of showers. Waves around 1 foot.
Thursday
East winds 5 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light showers. Waves around 1 foot.
Friday
Variable winds 10 knots or less...becoming northeast 5 to 15 knots late. Partly cloudy. Waves around 1 foot.
Saturday
North winds 5 to 15 knots...becoming variable 10 knots or less. Partly cloudy. Waves around 1 foot.

All I know is that the big swings in temperature are wrecking havoc on my sinuses. It didn't get over 60 degrees last Sunday but at least this weekend is looking up. Water temp is only 65 so don't think I will be swimming on Memorial Day weekend.

Your water is 65 degrees! Heck..that is warm! Our weather has been attrocious. We have been averaging 50-55 with a lot of wind. Our current water temp is 46 degrees, but I guarantee that we will be standing in the water by Memorial Day!! :D

Weather in Colorado BLOWS...literally. Lived here for two boating seasons now and it is always windy. Got the boat de-winterized two weeks ago, and was lucky enough to get an 85-degree day to put her in the water. Three days later it was snowing. Snowed again last weekend. Temps are in the 50s and 60s for the remainder of the week.

Don't anticipate that the water will be warm enough for skiing/swimming until late June at the earliest; and people are worried about global warming. I am worried about global cooling.

Not much better than Wisconsin, but check out the wind. Breezy around here means winds at 15-25 MPH. Windy is 25-35 MPH. NO mention in the forecast still means that winds will blow at 10-15.

Lake Norman NC has had highs in the 70s and 80s the last 4 or 5 weekends, nice weather for cruising but the water is still cold. I won't get in the water for a couple more weeks.

Ah well, when we launched the boat on 28th April it was sunny and almost warm and not very windy; thankfully we went out for a few hours that day, it deteriorated to something like a F5 gusting F7, then stayed like that ever since: at least to begin with it was sunny; now cloudy and rainy with high wind for 2 weeks. I guess Summer is gone !

Here in Ontario, March came in like a lamb and went out like an idiot. April turned into November and May so far, should be sent to prison.

I think the Russians are at it again with that weather machine

In Minneapolis it is 66 degrees and pouring down sun. I'm on the way to the lake right now! :-).

I lived in Mildenhall, England for 4 years, that's about how long I remember the summers to be :)
