Well, our first morning coffee out on the water for the season is under our belts. Sunday morning brought fantastic weather with dead calm winds.

Last year on good weather weekends, we started to head onto the lake for coffee and breakfast just getting out of the marina, and drifting. Perfect way to start the day! Anybody else get out on the water this weekend?

I usually cut down my coffee drinking in the summer....unless I stay on the boat. For some reason coffee is sooo much better on a boat. Actually I think it's safe to say everything is better on a boat

Yup, was out all weekend. I'll have to try that breakfast/coffee on the boat thing.

Bite Me!

Some of us have to work.

(Chris has the dock next to me)

Boat is at Idylletyme getting the new convertible top installed. Then it's got to got to Arctic Canvas to get cut so it fits with the Bimini.

Oceanled A3 light installation is underway, holes drilled thru transom below the waterline. Scary!

We grab breakfast on the way to the lake to enjoy. Going out early is the only way to assure you can launch, especially on nice days, besides I can't think of a better place to have breakfast than floating on the water.

I remember having that problem when I lived in Milw. Should just come to the lakes up this way! Never have to wait to launch no matter time of day.

Still on my list of things to do. For some reason, whenever we plan on it the weather doesn't exactly cooperate. I'll get a bit of reprieve this coming weekend when my boat is docked at my in-laws for 4 days.

I was planning on going out fishing on Saturday Chris but Mother Nature threw thunderstorms at Simcoe. My fishing buddy had to go home and the wifey was away on business and, of course, Sunday was perfect. I did get the Vista all clean and shined up and blasted a few of those damn grackles with my air soft. I set my coffee maker to go off and had coffee aboard before I left for work this morning. So, ya, 3 mornings with coffee aboard,,,,beats coffee in the morning and then having to get out the snow blower

John

Gregs, so sorry to rub it in bud! LOL I was sure that I was going to see you out there on Sunday... I really can't wait to see how your A3's turns out. I have started on LED's in the interior, but would like to do some transom lighting as well.

John, it was nasty here on Saturday morning as well, pouring rain and thunderstorms. Nice to hear that you spent some time on the boat regardless of the weather. It sure would be nice to be able to spend the night onboard, then make coffee and walk out on deck..... someday I will have a cruiser!
