Anyone else having an issue posting pictures? I have always uploaded to photobucket and then used the IMG code to upload. Starting Saturday, I keep getting the picture has to be 200 x 300 pixels which is tiny. I thought ifourwinns was just linking to photobucket, but maybe something changed. Thanks. |

I'm not sure where that came from but I seem to recall the lower water pump bolts looked like that on my old 4.3, I looked in the Doug Russell.com (their Volvo catalog only goes to 2001) and saw the bolts for the lower water pump mount...part # 21 http://www.dougrussell.com/partscatalog ... ,3211,3195 is that where it came from? |

It is the lower left on the power steering pump. I cannot find anything related to power steering on the Volvo section of that site Lou. Alternator is there (which is mounted above my power steering) and other parts, but no power steering. |

I had that same stud break last summer at the same location. I believe the one you are looking for is #9 in the attached link. Part number is 3856973. It cost me 28.50 + tax last summer and I got very lucky because the dealer where I normally bought my supplies from happened to have exactly one in stock for some reason. Hopefully this helps. http://www.volvopentastore.com/Power-Steering/dm/cart_id.447226124--session_id.642234765--store_id.366--view_id.769925 |

Thanks BoatCrazy! That is the exact part. Heading to my dealer today to see if he has it and if not will order 2 ( that cheap a backup is going in my boat parts). I am going to replace the other ones too. |

You can get the OMC/Volvo stud lots of places. None are cheap. http://www.iboats.com/Stud/dm/view_id.292786 http://www.marineengine.com/newparts/pa ... OMC3856973 http://www.jmsonline.net/volvo-penta-stud-3856973.htm |

Thanks Cap'n and Boat. The temporary part I made with an exhaust stud was less than $5. Why so expensive? And the oem part was not even stainless and rusted. |
