Pulled 738 miles round-trip.
This will soundlike a NASCAR interview......
My V-8 Ford-Powered, Cobra propelled, FOUR-WINNS 190 Horizon SS sitting atop Gladiator 225/75/15 E-rated Radials @ 80 PSI, mounted on new, steel, 5-spokes from Northern-Tool, and stopped by Kodiak 12-inch discs with Tie-Down brake lines pumped by an Attwood 6k actuator riding on new Timken bearings performed flawlessly.
There were two driver errors. #1 Almost got washed-up on the beach by a late anchor deployment.............#2 Ran up on a grass/sand-bar @ 40 mph, which was a real show/momentum-stopper, I thought I had killed the equipment at that point.........Jumped out, pushed for a deeper lane, no damage but missing paint on the O/D and prop..........

Sweet! My sister lives in Santa Rosa Beach. We have talked about towing our boat to Lake Euphala and meeting my sister and her husband there (that is about the midway point) and renting a cabin... I am afraid my tow vehicle is probably undersized for a long trip like that though. I rarely tow more than 10 miles.

We had a house off exit-2, Tugaloo Heights (Fairplay), but I saw the future in my "Lucky" crystal-ball and we sold it in 09. We love Hartwell. Have not been back but twice since, but we will be going back this year and camp.
