HAHA I love it! I leave my guns at home since I figure nothing good can come of it when I have been drinking in the sun all day and have loaded guns in the boat. Although I do plan on keeping my S&W .40 under my pillow when we actually anchor out over night on the lake...just in case someone wants to play pirate in the middle of the night.
Just FYI, a guy one dock over in our marina owns an auto repair shop, so he has his ccw, he was just telling me yesterday that he left strait from work to bring his boat to the marina last week from down river where it was being serviced, and the coasties pulled him over for a vessel inspection, the first question asked was there any guns on board.
He told him yes he was carrying. They immediatly told him to put his hands in the air and they removed the gun from his person. They ran him thru the ringer for over an hour before giving him his gun back and making him put it below, only then did they give him his ammunition back.
As I was listening to the story, I was a little frustrated, here he is law abiding business man with a legal ccw, who was just going to report to them that he was carring before they asked and they acted like he was a damn criminal.
