My favorite broker just picked up another Vista. It arrived on his lot about 3 or 4 days ago. This one is a 348 but no info yet on year, price, etc. I haven't climbed up on it as he's still prepping it for show, but from the ouside it looks beautiful. Gel coat looks bright and shiny, canvas looks good, swim platform has the fake teak (forget what it's called), and it has a radar package. It also has inboards. That's all I know at this point.

The V298 he has is still up there listed at $65K. I would say I'm surprised it's not gone yet but I've been watching the turnover on his lot this spring....the cruisers are taking longer to sell but the bowriders and deck boats are flying off his lot. Most seem to be gone within a few weeks of arriving. I'm guessing gas prices may have something to do with that.

Hopped aboard this boat yesterday. Wow! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I'll post the link to his website once he officially lists the boat.

Pretty easy to find, if you took 30 seconds to search.......

Step 1: Look for the 298 post started by Winedown.

Step 2:
Read the post and look for the provided link.

I bought both of my boats through him and he's helped a few friends sell their boats. Pretty sure I mentioned this in the other thread, but this guy is as honest as they come and has by far the best reputation in the MD/DC/VA area. He inspects every single boat inside and out before agreeing to sell it and he rejects as many, if not more, boats than he accepts. He does the acceptance sea trial out of my marina and the guys on the docks have told me about the number of boats he takes vs. the number he turns down. My marina manager, an old hardcore boater (think Quint from Jaws) has the utmost respect for Jonathan and his integrity when it comes to selling boats...and if you know Rick, that says a lot.

Quick example of why I like Jonathan from my personal experience....
We bought our first boat (’98 Chaparral Signature 240) from him a few years ago after asking around town and being told nothing but great things about the guy. We had the hull survey and sea trial done on a Friday afternoon with plans to close that day assuming all went well. Process ended around 5:00 pm and the only thing discovered was that the battery charger wasn't working. We were going to hold off on closing until the following week to see if the owner would accept throwing a fix into the deal. Then I mentioned something along the lines of it was too bad because my kids were really looking forward to going out on the boat that weekend. So what did Jonathan do? Did he say "Yeah, too bad. Well, closing time on a Friday so I'll call you next week"....nope, he spent the next two hours troubleshooting the battery charger and was able to trace the problem and fix it that day. We closed on the boat around 8:00 that night. That’s customer service.

Wow! I'd rather buy that then a house. Get tired of the neighbors? Untie the ropes and go elsewhere :D

I keep trying to tell my wife that, ditch the house and move onto a boat, but she hasn't quite bought into the idea. I'm gonna keep working on it though....

Both Four Winns were sold in the past week or so. The 298 left his lot sometime last week and they put the 348 in the water today. Wonder if the new owners will find this forum...

Wow that boat is defiitely a beauty. I loved the cruisers but felt intimidated with their size being a first time boat owner I opted for the H220SS and I will work up from there. She is coming home today at noon finally! 8)
