There are many links on this forum about this very topic. As for Skiing, tubing etc, it can be done but, its probably not the most ideal boat for the task at hand. Pulling a skier with an under powered boat has a tendency to drag the skier through the water for a period of time prior to getting enough speed for them to get up out of the water, and if they're a good skier then eventually they can make it out of the water and enjoy the ride. I do know that pulling newbie is a little tricky and I think it makes it harder for them because they have the challenge to stay right side up as you plow them through the water. Tubing is a piece of cake with a boat of your size, no problems! Just my 2 cents. |

Ask Ardy what he thinks about skiing behind a H180. ardy wrote: The only time mine struggles to pull me up on a slalom is if I have 5+ people onboard. It isn't rip your arms out quick but quite adequate all the same. I am 6 foot and around 90 kg and I my style at deep starting leaves a lot to be desired. Ardy's friend skiing behind his 180. ![]() And a video of Ardy skiing behind his 180. Looks powerful enough to me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEnNBNRB9RA |

My son has no problem wakeboarding behind ours, even with 4 adults in it. No problem with skis either. It'll do it for ya.... at the very worst, you might have to drop 1 pitch in prop to pull out of the hole faster (if you don't find it fast enough to start with). |
