Anyone with tips or if you have a pair you don't use drop me a line. I am sick of the swimming pool that I run into when my rigged supports give out. Also, need a new horn the one that is on it now is definitely done! Thanks for your help guys. ![]() |

The support poles on our SL242 would not hold any weight due to the thumb screw. I put the covers on with the poles and measured from the support arm to the floor and cut a 2" piece of PVC that I slip over the poles. The only issue now is they slip sometimes but that's an easy fix. |

That is absolutely the greatest and simplest idea yet Home Depot here I come. Thanks for turning on the lightbulb up there it was getting clouded with all this marine certified talk. |

I have a cap on the bottom and I think that's why it slips but I was worried of the PVC "raw" edge marking the carpet. A "T" with a couple short pieces might help. |
