I would keep an eye on this one, hopefully she blows out into cold water and dies out and won't pose a threat to us or our boats. If a storm does happen to hit again please don't do what this poor man did. Keep safe my Forum brothers.

One man in Croton, New York, died Sunday while boating along with four others down the Croton River, said Lt. Russell Haper, a spokesman for the Croton police. The boat overturned in the strong rapids. The 53-year-old man was found dead after a three-hour rescue effort. The other men were pulled safely from the water.

It's way too early to tell. One thing to point out though, TD 12 quickly turned into Tropical Storm Katia and she's expected to become a category 1 tonight. Some predictions have her a category 3 as soon as Saturday. These things can change course in a hurry as well but as I stated in the Irene thread, she's still on course for Hatteras.
