If a storm does happen to hit again please don't do what this poor man did. Russell Haper, a spokesman for the Croton police. The boat overturned in the strong rapids. The 53-year-old man was found dead after a three-hour rescue effort. The other men were pulled safely from the water. |

It's way too early to tell. One thing to point out though, TD 12 quickly turned into Tropical Storm Katia and she's expected to become a category 1 tonight. Some predictions have her a category 3 as soon as Saturday. These things can change course in a hurry as well but as I stated in the Irene thread, she's still on course for Hatteras. John |
