I have had my H200 since june 30th last year its an 08 although it was new when I bought it, left over stock I guess. Anyway every time I remove the cover starting from the swim platform as it's docked, I thought I could smell fuel vapor, got it checked at 1st 20 hour service. They found nothing leaking. So when I had it winterized and oil changes and stuff (different dealer) one at the marina this time. I told them I think I can smell gas when I 1st open the cockpit cover, they checked it out, they found no leaks. So when I picked my boat up from winter storage this summer I mentioned again to the service guy at the marina about the smell. He came out to the boat as it was still on the trailer and covered removed a corner and he said all he could smell was a new boat smell. Well it now got 160 hours on it and we are off to the finger lakes tomorrow so Sat and Sunday I spent cleaning and tidying up everything and whilst I have the engine cover off I touched the fuel supply line from the tank to the fuel pump, (well I guess thats what I touched and found the union loose at the center of the fuel tank, looking toward the engine the line goes to the left and up to I think the fuel pump) I didnt want to use a wrench on it as the union goes into a nut that is flush with the tank itself and I got about a third of a turn on the union. It now faces away from the pump as apposed towards it which it did when loose. I hope I have cured the leaking fumes. I will find out tomorrow. Am I right in thinking that its the fuel line feeding the pump.
Sorry its so drawn out best way I could explain it..........Thanks Ray
